A year has passed since BITS Biomedical Inc. achieved ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation for the Calibration and Testing of Medical and Test Equipment. This milestone marked an important chapter in our journey, reflecting our commitment to delivering technically competent, reliable, and accurate calibration and testing services to the healthcare and industrial sectors.

While we are proud to celebrate this achievement, accreditation is not something that is earned once and forgotten. It is an ongoing commitment that requires continuous improvement, consistent performance, and compliance with internationally recognized standards.

As we celebrate our first anniversary, we are also proud to have successfully completed our first surveillance assessment, an important part of the accreditation process. Conducted by our accreditation body, the surveillance assessment verifies that our laboratory continues to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and maintains the technical competence and quality management system expected of an accredited laboratory.

Successfully completing this assessment reinforces our commitment to continually evaluating and improving our operations, strengthening our quality practices, and ensuring that every calibration and testing service we provide remains accurate, reliable, and traceable.

On April 13, 2026, BITS Biomedical proudly celebrated its 10th founding anniversary, marking a decade of providing reliable medical equipment calibration, repair, and preventive maintenance services in the Philippines. This milestone reflects the company’s continuous commitment to supporting healthcare facilities through accuracy, safety, and dependable biomedical services.

The celebration brought the team together to look back on the company’s journey from its early beginnings to where it is today. Over the past 10 years, BITS Biomedical has grown through strong partnerships, consistent service quality, and a shared goal of improving healthcare equipment reliability across the Philippines.

The program opened with remarks from the President, Mr. Arnold O. de Torres. He delivered an anniversary message and shared his experiences and challenges since the company was established. His message highlighted the importance of teamwork, trust, and staying committed to delivering quality medical equipment services to clients.

One of the meaningful moments of the event was the wine toast, which symbolized gratitude for the past years and optimism for the future. This was followed by a recognition segment where employees who have been with BITS Biomedical for 5 to 10 years were honored and given tokens of appreciation.

The company also presented a special anniversary video for the team. It served as a look back at key milestones, achievements, and memorable moments over the years. The room was filled with laughter and shared stories, showing how much the team enjoyed reliving those experiences together.

Games and activities added energy to the celebration and helped strengthen team connections. Employees were also given the opportunity to share their stories, reflecting on their experiences and contributions to the company’s growth.
